WPH Sports Club takes the health and safety of our members and staff very seriously and we fully comply with all requirements and recommendations on the NSW Health Department.

Most recently, entry requirements have changed.  While we have kept complete electronic records of members and their guests as they entered the Club, this information was available to the Health Deparment on request only.  They did not have direct access which meant that should they need the information quickly, there would be an inevitable delay in them getting the data they need.

This is the same for all Clubs in NSW and to ensure faster access to entry data, the NSW Premier advised that from 1 January 2020, anyone entering the Club would need to sign in via the Health Department’s QR code app.

The NSW Government has mandated new entry requirements for all hospitality venues.

From January 1st our Club along with every pub/club in the state MUST USE the Service NSW QR check in to allow for Covid contact tracing.

We strongly recommend that if you have not already done so, you should download the Service NSW app. This will mean your details are saved and you will not have to manually enter them each time you want to scan in to a business. There is a link to download the app here.

If you are a Member or guest you will need to do the following upon entering:

  1. Hold your smart phone camera up to the QR code which can be found on posters at entrance points. Simply hover the camera over the code as if you were going to take a photo of it.
  2. Click the link that pops up on your screen and follow the prompts until you are checked in with the Service NSW app.
  3. Show our friendly staff that you have checked in, as they are required to see confirmation before you enter the Club.
  4. Don’t forget to check-out when you leave, which you can do from within the app.

If you don’t have a smartphone, don’t worry, our friendly staff will assist you to check-in.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we comply with these latest government mandated measures for all our safety.
